Auf dem offiziellen Twitteraccount zu Ascend: Hand of Kul wurde bekannt gegeben, dass es mittlerweile über eine Million Spieler gibt, die sich im Free-2-Play-Titel tummeln. Gleichzeitig wurde ein Titelupdate angekündigt, das ein paar Dinge im Spiel ändert. Welche das sind, verrät euch diese Liste:
- Added front end signboard messages which are updated in celebration of our Ascend community being over 1 MILLION PLAYERS strong! Thank you for helping bring the world to life with your hard work and dedication!
- The "Unholy Alliance" alignment incentives are now over. The incentives passed down from the gods have now been updated to reflect this.
- The Ascend in-game event "The Holy Arsenal" which converted the light alignment dungeon in Wisp Grove is now over. The dungeon Whitestone Gardens is back to it's normal non-event size of 2 levels.
- A new alignment incentive has kicked off call "Aethas's Resolve". This has Aethindal, the God of Light offering powerful boosts for aligning to him during ascension.
