The issue: With the Windows 10 FCU (Fall Creators Update), the HD60 Pro driver will get stuck in a reboot loop and the firmware will be blank.
The solution: We have released a new software update, 3.60.108, which includes a new driver that fixes the issue.
Steps to update the HD60 Pro firmware:
THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE UPDATING TO THE WINDOWS 10 FALL CREATORS UPDATE:
- Install Game Capture Software 3.60.108
- Reboot your PC
- Reboot your PC, again
- Open the Game Capture software, and move the mouse over the HD60 Pro input signal indicator. If the driver says 1.1.0.176 and firmware 0.77, the HD60 Pro is updated and you are ready to upgrade to the Windows 10 FCU
If you are already on the Windows 10 FCU, you have 3 different options on how to update the HD60 Pro:
- Plug the HD60 Pro into a different computer that is NOT running the Windows 10 FCU and then follow the steps above
- Plug the HD60 Pro into a x16 PCIe slot (the long ones) and try the steps above. This may not work with all motherboards.
- Downgrade to the previous version of Windows 10 and then follow the steps above. This option definitely works, but downgrading is a pain.
