Steve Burke stellt die Konsole ebenfalls auf den Prüfstand:
Das eine Day One Konsole Kinderkrankheiten hat, das ist mehr oder weniger eigentlich normal.
Hier ist das Problem, dass wohl nachträglich nachdem MS die Specs der Series X gebracht hat mit der Brechstange versucht wurde, den Leistungsunterschied zu mindern.
Das führt zu geringer Chipausbeute, da höherer Takt gefahren werden muss. –> Teurer
Und auch die Chips, die es dem Anschein nach packen, könnten aufgrund von Degradation später mal versagen (seltener) oder nur zum Schein (wie hier, häufiger) den Takt mitmachen. Dazu muss auch die Kühlung entsprechend verbessert werden. (Hier: Flüssigmetall, teuer und gefährlich, wenn das mal überläuft, da elektrisch leitend).
Im Endeffekt hilft hier in dem Fall nichts anderes als die Leistung zu reduzieren oder die Konsolen umzutauschen mit einem besseren Herz aus Silizium.
Hatte gestern auch gelesen dass das Suren von Lüfter von einem Aufkleber oder so kommen soll der drüber steht. Kann man selber fixen, muss nur die Konsole aufmachen und seine Garantie einbüßen ?
Die PS 5 kam 100%ig ein Jahr zu früh auf den Markt. Schnell was zusammengebastelt, um die Series nicht zu lange allein auf dem Markt zu lassen. Alle die jetzt ne PS 5 haben und Probleme haben, sind quasi die Beta tester. Schon traurig wenn man eine so teure Konsole kauft und sie dann so enttäuscht. Aber gibt ja ja auch hier und da Probleme bei der Series. Bleibt halt als day one Käufer nicht auf…
Selbst wenn man die Konsole erst kauft wenn sie schon 1 Jahr auf dem Markt ist, kann einem sowas passieren …
Finde das nicht unbedigt immer passend, es auf den Day One kauf zu schieben 😀 !
Erfahrungsgemäß ist es aber nunmal meist so, dass day one mehr Probleme bereiten, als die folgenden Konsolen.

mhh interessant, eine ähnliche artefaktbildung konnte ich beim team intro von rogue company auf meiner sx feststellen. Das ist fieß, das ist immer das Problem mit übertakten, und dann nicht genau abgestimmter kühlung. Darum geht man beim PC bei starker Übertaktung auf eine Wasserkühlung.
Ich denke das der Lüfter der ps5 das ganze schaffen würde, nur ist es blöd das die warme Luft beim rauswerfen noch um gefühlt 10 Ecken muss, dadurch muss der Lüfter mehr Druck aufbauen und dreht dementsprechend schneller. Was wiederum bedeutet das die warme Luft länger brauch das Gehäuse zu verlassen.
Rein rechnerisch und auch nur überschlagen erzeugt die xsx mit ihrem 320 Watt Netzteil schon bis zu 40 kelvin je Sekunde die aus der Box müssen. Die ps5 hat dazu ein größeres Netzteil und nicht optimalen lufstrom da müssen dann ca 45 Kelvin je Sekunde durch die schmalen spalten durch. Und nicht vergessen alles was mit der warmen Luft in Berührung kommt wird irgendwann auch warm, somit strahlt die Wärme wieder zurück ins Innenleben. Das führt bei dauernde Übertaktung zum versagen der Technik.
Da haben bestimmt in der Entwicklung die ingenieure die Hände übern Kopf zusammengeschlagen als die das Design bekommen haben.
Irgendwie passend, das die Konsolen in dem Jahr erschienen sind, in dem fast alles nur katastrophal läuft??
Im Moment kann ich Sony einfach nicht leiden aber diese Probleme wünsche ich niemandem. Ich hoffe, das sich das alles irgendwie retten lässt.

Ich hab doch gesagt das in der Hülle der PS5 nur ne PS4 steck die übertaktet wurde weil die garkeine neue Konsole haben.

Zum Glück habe ich noch nix an next gen vorbestellt, Kommt erst in der Bude wenns richtig rund läuft…Mom hat man das Gefühl das alles noch im halbfertigen zustand ist ?
