Wer mit seiner Konsole im Xbox Insider Programm ist und sich im Alpha Skip Ahead Ring befindet, der hat in der vergangenen Nacht ein neues Update erhalten.
Mit dem neusten Update (2008.200711-0000) hat das Hardware-Team einige Fehler behoben. Darunter auch ein Fehler bei der Nutzung von DTS:X Audio. Weitere Fehler wurden im Aktivitäten Feed, Guide und Meine Spiele & Apps behoben.

Fixes Implemented
Thanks to the hard work of Xbox engineers, we are happy to announce the following fixes have been implemented for this build:
Activity Feeds
- Fixed UI issues when viewing content as well as Previews not loading for posts.
Audio
- Various fixes to clarity when using DTS:X audio.
Guide
- Users should no longer have issues closing game/apps (such as Spotify) via the Guide menu.
My Games & Apps
- Users should no longer see games appearing under the Apps section of their collections.
System
- Various updates to properly reflect local languages across the console
- Note: Users participating in Preview may see “odd” text across the console, for more information go here.
Known Issues
We understand some issues have been listed in previous Xbox Insider Release Notes. These items aren’t being ignored, but it will take Xbox engineers more time to find a solution.
We’re still tracking these known issues:
Audio
- Users who have Dolby Atmos enabled and console display settings set to 120hz with 36 bits per pixel (12-bit) are experiencing loss of Dolby Atmos audio in some situations.
- Workaround: Disable 120hz or set Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit) or lower.
- Some users have reported that Dolby Atmos for Headphones audio setting changes when the console is rebooted/updated.
- Note: If you attempt to set the audio to Dolby Atmos for Headphones and see a message advising you to launch the Dolby Access App, please file feedback before launching the app.
Guide
- We’ve received reports that the Friends tab is not showing the correct status of online/offline friends.
- Some users may notice that the Guide has changed appearance and functionality, this is expected behavior as there are certain experiences being flighted among a random subset of users in Preview.
My Games & Apps
- Users have reported seeing black tiles instead of game artwork when browsing their collection.
- Note: We are still investigating the issue, please report the issue again from the console if you have done so with a prior update and are still seeing this behavior.
- Some titles in collection may appear with a “trial” tag incorrectly in collection.
System
- Users may see the four new languages (Hungarian, Czech, Slovak and Greek) available as options for the keyboard. While they can be selected, they are non-functional at this time.
Profile Color
- Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Tja, aber immer noch nicht das Problem behoben, dass keine Spiele mehr von alleine nen update laden. Das haben viele die ich kenne und ich auch. Das nervt am meisten. Habt ihr das auch?

Aber wenigstens ein paar Fehler gefixt.
Bin nicht im Insider Programm.
Allerdings klappt das bei mir nicht mehr mit den Controllern bzw. wenn der Akku leer ist, dann schaltet sich der Controller natürlich ab. Gab immer eine Warnung vorher. Die ist leider weg.

Bin und war nicht im Insider Programm. Hab die Box inzwischen bestimmt 2x zurück gesetzt nach Updates. Keine Veränderung. Der Controller schaltet ohne Vorwarnung ab.

Beides… Normalen und Elite 2

Hilft leider nicht weiter. Zurückgesetzt, wie gesagt / geschrieben, habe ich schon mehrfach und das brachte leider keine Änderung.
Ich habe gestern was gehabt aber heute nix
Naja, das update hat mal wieder mehr kaputt gemacht am Sound als einem lieb ist. Hab bei meinen Spielen derzeit regelmäßig Tonaussetzer bzw. Verzögerungen. So macht spielen keinen Spaß 🙁
Ich habe dts:X wieder weg gemacht, das Dolby Atmos hat mehr bums, dtx war irgendwie nicht überzeugend…

Dumme Frage: Wie aktivierst du denn in der Box DTS:x? Man kann doch lediglich DTS und Atmos auswählen.
Alpha Ring?! Dann war es halt DTS nur, trotzdem scheiße…

Is DTS x bis jetzt nur im Beta Status ja? Ich bin nicht im Alpha Ring, nur weil letztens jemand meinte, dass sei schon verfügbar.

Die Dolby App hat ja jetzt auch n Upmixer. Ich finde seitdem ist die Quali besser geworden.
Vorher fand ich den normalen DTS Sound irgendwie wuchtiger.
Ich glaube, das ist individuell. Je nach System, Setting, Wohnung usw. und das eigene Empfinden. Aber je mehr Settings und Optionen, umso besser.
Ja das mag sein. Ich habe den Dolby Atmos Sound bei vielen Spielen als bedeutend leiser und weniger kraftvoll wahrgenommen. Wahrscheinlich grad bei Spielen, die keine Atmos Spur haben.
Seitdem der Upmixer da is, klingt es bedeutend besser.
