Home
- Fixed an issue in which some users are black screen on boot after update.
My Games and Apps
- Fixed issues with apps and games failing to launch.
Spotify Search
- The search function in Spotify is working now. The Spotify team did an app fix.
Known Issues:
Pi-hole
- Pi-hole users may encounter issues signing in, creating, or recovering accounts upon downloading the 1804 update. This is due to a new configuration file which is downloaded from a URL Pi-hole blocks by default.
- Workaround: Add clientconfig.passport.net to the Pi-hole allowed IP address list.
Netflix
- Netflix on Monitor only works at 1080p and does not support 1440p – Netflix is aware of the issue. Workaround : If watching Netflix on a Monitor/LCD please set the display output to 1080p.
HDR Issues
- Some users are discovering that some games are not showing in HDR – Please file feedback when you encounter this to help in the investigation.
Spotify Search
- Some users are discovering that the search function in Spotify is not working. Please file feedback when you encounter this to help in the investigation. Workaround – Type in a search hit enter and nothing happens. Click the left stick twice and it searches properly.
Controller sharing/ Co-pilot vibration issues
- Some users may experience a problem with a controller vibrating non-stop when using the share controller or the co-pilot feature.
Profile Color
- Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.
Home
- Some users are reporting when quitting a game or app via the guide Home is not loading and you see a black screen.
Audio
- If you are experiencing Audio low volume, distorted audio or not audio in some games or apps please file feedback.
- Hulu app volume is lower and being investigated.

Bin vor ein paar Monaten aus dem Alpha Ring ausgestiegen.
Sind mir einfach zu viele Updates geworden. Wenn ich abends meine Box einschalte dann wurde ich zu oft mit Updates belästigt und konnte zu wenig zocken. Leider funktionieren die Auto Updates im Standby ja nicht im Alpha Ring
Wieso sollten die Auto-Updates im Alpha Ring im Standby nicht funktionieren? Bei mir checkt die One X meistens nachts zwischen 2 und 4 Uhr auf Updates und installiert diese dann entsprechend. Am Tag sehe ich dann nur in der System-Info, dass die Konsole nachts mal wieder ein Update gemacht hat.
Nope, bei mir hat das nicht funktioniert… Zumindest nicht bei den größeren Updates.
Nein. Alle größeren Updates im Alpha-Ring werden tatsächlich eben nicht automatisch installiert. Ich kenne das auch.
Insgesamt ist das Auto-Update Feature ziemlich fehlerhaft. Mal läuft es prima (die letzten Gears Updates), dann wieder gar nicht (Sea of Thieves).
Das ist insgesamt derzeit mein größter Kritikpunkt am OS.
Also ich liebe die Updates, deswegen bin ich ja in der Alpha :). Und das schon 4 Jahre!!!

Ach…hätte ich mal die Release Notes gelesen, hätte ich gewusst, warum Spotify spackt.
Ich bin auch im Alpha Ring und habe mit den häufigen Updates kein Problem. Die gehören halt dazu um das Dashboard zu verbessern.
