Xbox Series X: Alle Gewinner der D.I.C.E. Awards 2021

Die Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (kurz DICE) hat gestern in einem Live-Stream die Gewinner des 24. D.I.C.E. Awards bekannt gegeben. Der große Abräumer des Abends war das von Supergiant Games veröffentlichte „Hades“, das insgesamt gleich fünf Auszeichnungen abräumte. Darunter Outstanding Achievement for Game Direction, Game Design, Independent Game und Action Game of the Year.

Bei der Kategorie Game of the Year konnte sich „Hades“ gegen starke Konkurrenz in Form von Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Ghost of Tsushima und The Last of Us Part 2 durchsetzen.

Ghost of Tsushima konnte vier Awards mit nach Hause nehmen: Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, Original Music Composition, Audio Design und Adventure Game of the Year. Abgesehen von den bisher genannten Spielen haben nur noch The Last of Us Part 2 (Oustanding Achievement in Animation und Story) und Half-Life: Alyx (Immersive Reality Technical Achievement und Immersive Reality Game of the Year) mehr als einen Award gewonnen – und zwar jeweils 2. Eine wirkliche Überraschung stellen die Gewinner nicht dar. Während The Last of Us Part 2 die meiste Zeit des Jahres als früher Favorit galt, war Hades das Spiel was es zu schlagen galt, kurz bevor die Awards stattfanden.
