Mit der Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection hatte Aspyr einen Fehlstart hingelegt. Auf Steam wurde die Sammlung direkt zum Release mit negativen Wertungen überhäuft.
Insbesondere der Multiplayer wurde kritisiert. So fehlte es etwa an Servern. Laut einem Statement von Aspyr lag das an einem kritischen Fehler in der Netzwerkinfrastruktur.
Ein erstes Update wurde jetzt veröffentlicht. Für Steam ist es bereits abrufbar. Auf Xbox, PlayStation und Nintendo muss es vorher noch den Zertifizierungsprozess durchlaufen, ehe es für Spieler freigegeben wird.
Enthalten sind im Update mehr als 40 Fehlerkorrekturen, die die Bereiche Multiplayer, Steuerung und Visuelles betreffen.
Der Entwickler verspricht, weitere serverseitige Anpassungen für den Online-Multiplayer vorzunehmen. Ein zweites Update ist ebenfalls geplant.

- Fixed Kit Fisto lightsaber to animate.
- Fixed Kit Fisto’s Force power to no longer remain stuck to the client in multiplayer.
Audio

- [BF2] Fixed a crash that occurred when an audio output device was disconnected.
- [BF2] Fixed the music to play on several maps in the Hero Assault mode.
- [BF2] Fixed blaster SFX for certain Hero characters‘ weapons to play at the correct volume.
- [BF1][BF2] Fixed an issue where the audio outputs would reverse.

- [BF1] Fixed a bridge in Bespin: Cloud City to allow a Droideka to roll on it.
- [BF2] Fixed Naboo Area 3’s respawn blocker.

- [BF2] Fixed the Assault gamemode to be present in the Mode section of the Pick Search Options menu.
- [BF2] Fixed the reinforcements to correctly deduct 1 reinforcement when the Republic or Rebels die on Death Star.
- [BF2] Fixed the Map and Mode settings reset button.
- [BF1][BF2] Fixed the „Load Fail“ error that occurred when loading a profile.
Zu spät, ich wollte es mir kaufen aber so eine faule Schlamperei unterstützte ich nicht. Die Sever werden sowieso schon leer sein und dann noch fast 60 GB 🤣 nein danke, nicht mal im Sale würde ich es mir noch kaufen wollen.
Asspyr hat hier ne glatte 6 verdient. Es ist so traurig dass wir kein ordentliches Battlefront bekommen können. Und ich glaube dank dieser Shitshow wird es auch in Zukunft keinen dritten Teil geben. Danke Asspyr 😐🖕
Ich verstehe es nicht, wie man einen so heißerwarteten Retrotitel, so dermaßen in den Sand setzen kann. 🤬

Im Sale via VPN werd ichs mir vilt. der alten Zeiten willen holen aber Aspyr ist wirklich das letzte Drecksstudio. Wie immer bei den neuen Star Wars Sachen, hätte es so schön werden können aber irgendwie ist alles um die Marke wie verflucht
Weil wahrscheinlich viele Studios denken das es sich von alleine verkauft wegen dem Namen. Dann muss man bei Star Wars Titeln ja nicht viel Ressourcen verbrauchen… Asspyr ist einfach auch eine Drecksbude!
Aspyr ist echt ein Drecksladen. Mein Kumpel hat es sich gestern nach dem Patch für Steam geholt und gemeint dass auch die Hitbox komplett fürn Arsch ist. Die Collection ist echt ein Fiasko. Sogar die Achievments sind verbuggt🤣😅
Und das bei einem Retrospiel, bei welchem man sich ja kaum grossen Aufwand vorstellen kann. Echt unglaublich, wie man so ein Selbstläufer verkacken kann. Irgendwie traurig und lustig zugleich 😅🤣

Ich hatte wirklich großes Interesse.
Zum Glück habe ich abgewartet und bleibe nur bei meinen originalen Spielen.
Ich verstehe den ganzen Sinn dahinter nicht. Für mich Geldmacherei. Was unterscheidet denn die Collection von den originalen Teilen? Einen ordentlichen Remaster hätte mehr gebracht…

Hauptsache Geld abgreifen.
Funktionen und Sprachausgaben die selbst im Original verfügbar waren sind ja nicht einmal vorhanden.
Von Datenkomprimierung Mal ganz von ab eine absolute Schande für diese super Battlefrontteile.
